The Longest Night

Sun behind bridge on highway.

Spratte here.

We closed the office today, or rather we’re off the hook for answering regular emails until next year. HALO 22 has only ever been remote work, but the idea of “closing the office” resonates.

It’s fitting we do this on the shortest day of the year because this is a rest, a pause—a chance to reset as we prepare for the longer days ahead.

HALO 22’s first six months have been interesting, that’s for sure. I’m looking forward to taking some time and getting my bearings for 2022.

So that’s the plan: Rest up, get ready for the work ahead.

See you in 2022.
