Girl Scouts Hornets' Nest Recruitment Website

We began working with the Girl Scouts Hornets' Nest Council (GSHN) this summer. Located in Charlotte, they have a lot of ground to cover.

Every year, there's a membership drive in the fall. And the GSHN team wanted to try something different, and we were more than game.

The concept was straightforward: Ask the question: What could a girl do? The answers came from the programs and opportunities GSHN makes available for their scouts.

From exploring the world through mountain climbing and biking to building habitats for endangered species or pushing the boundaries of STEM through a rocketry program, the answer was "Anything."

The GSHN team had already commissioned a videographer, so we knew we'd have good assets to leverage for the website.

A compelling domain, a review of brand guides, and some teamwork on the content allowed us to quickly develop a website on Squarespace to support the recruitment efforts—including a bit of print work.
