Another year, another State of the State Courts poll! We got tagged in at the end of last year to prepare the National Center for State Courts’ annual presentation for 2024, and we couldn’t have been happier to accept the challenge.
Using our brand refresh from 2019 as a framework, we selected new colors and art to frame trends in the figure data—and then got to work creating all new infographics.

It’s hard to believe that we’ve designed NCSC’s State of the State Courts presentations going all the way back to 2014. Take a look at this year’s bold, colorful slide deck.
In 2022, we decided to lean in to a broader color palette for State of the State Courts—and bring in a gradient image wash as part of the updated brand style. Keeping the audience engaged can be as simple as adding more color.
Each December, State of the State Courts is presented at an in-person gathering, and attendees receive a print version to take home. In 2020, things were different: The presentation would only be given via Zoom, and the content would be unlike any before.
In 2019, our team was tasked with refreshing the State of the State Courts: The National Center for State Courts’ comprehensive public opinion survey designed to gauge current trust and confidence in the state courts. Since the annual survey began in 2014, members of the HALO 22 team have helped shape how that information is shared, so we were a good fit for the update project.
Enough about us.
We’d love to hear about what you’re working on—let’s talk.
