Each December, State of the State Courts is presented at an in-person gathering, and attendees receive a print version to take home. In 2020, things were different: The presentation would only be given via Zoom, and the content would be unlike any before.
“State of the State Courts 2019 Poll” Presentation
In 2019, our team was tasked with refreshing the State of the State Courts: The National Center for State Courts’ comprehensive public opinion survey designed to gauge current trust and confidence in the state courts. Since the annual survey began in 2014, members of the HALO 22 team have helped shape how that information is shared, so we were a good fit for the update project.

For this volume, we worked with ominous skylines, art from Yao Bo and Masao Miyoshi, and, for the finale, a vibrator.

Lamar Stringfield Music Camp chose to move out from the university it had been operating under for decades. They needed a new identity and we were thrilled to work with them.

FactStream App Identity
We partnered with Duke Reporters’ Lab to brand FactStream, “a lie-swatting, claim-debunking, fact-checking app to stop the spread of falsehoods.” Ambitious, right? Our brand work covered the logo and identity kit, as well as an app store icon and detailed visual guidance for the user interface and experience.
Center for Human Trafficking Court Solutions
CHTCS had an existing identity and wanted our help reworking it into something more useful across a range of media. We developed a more robust identity kit and deployed it in a leave-behind piece for initial outreach.
