H22 Dispatch No. 2
Editor’s Note: Dispatches is our (fun, informative, and infrequent) newsletter. You can read Dispatches here on our site, or sign up to receive them via email for a curated visual experience.
Since our last Dispatch, we’ve been hard at work developing resources—and a fun, new tool—to help our clients on any project. Keep reading to find out what’s new at HALO 22.
Do you know what we do?
We were overdue for getting into the nitty gritty of what we do and how we talk about it. There’s always been a quick overview of our services right at the top of our homepage, but a shorthand summary doesn’t provide enough nuance. With multiple cups of coffee and our usual blend of teamwork, we produced a fuller picture of What We Do.
Content Development
We’ve always, quietly, offered content development on a case-by-case basis. Here’s the thing: Good design relies on good content. Acknowledging that is long overdue. So, we've put content development on the list of what we do.
Whether you need strategy, execution, or both, we bring the same process-driven thinking to content that we bring to design work. Think of it as content by design.
How We Work
As we reviewed what we do, that process naturally led us to more clarity on how we work, because our process is just as important as what we do. In fact, it’s one of our biggest differentiators from other design shops. Some firms have a process for websites. Another for brand. Another for print. Ours is the same across all of it—because the thinking that makes work good doesn’t change with the medium.
Find out the difference curiosity makes and dive into the details of how we work.
Get your Jargon Ipsum now!
While we brainstormed on our services and processes, we also wanted to use those insights to make something useful and fun. That goal laid the way for Jargon Ipsum.
Lorem Ipsum has been the pillar of mockups since the 1960s. We thought it could use some company. Jargon Ipsum generates industry-relevant placeholder text that can help mockups get that much closer to the real thing, making the final product easier to envision.
Don’t let boring ipsum ruin your mockup! Use Jargon Ipsum instead.
